Simply click on edit report via your web browser. This will send the report to your in-progress section on the app and will allow you to edit dots, rearrange rooms and more.

Integrating 360 images into the Dotin app is one of our other core features. 360 images are a great way to show an overview of each property area, indoors or outdoors. It has always been challenging to compare the before and after of different areas. But by integrating 360 images with Dots, before and after comparisons are now simple. Connect to one of our recommended 360 cameras (Theta Z1, Theta V, Insta360 One X2) directly from the app to capture images or view the 360 camera image gallery.

Capture multiple images simultaneously of certain areas or items swiftly to save time. This allows the users to capture multiple images for each Dot rapidly. In addition, we have embedded thumbnails for multi-image capture, enabling users to view or delete particular images without closing the camera roll. After you start an inspection, you no longer need an internet connection to carry out the report. Sync your inspections when you have a stable internet connection, and if you lose connection mid-sync, don’t worry; just sync again.

Creating inspections on your device has never been easier. First, search your existing library or add a new address. Next, select inspection type, date and client from your device, click start, and you are ready to carry out an inspection.

With auto address fill, we have made creating inspections on your device even faster. Use the search tap to search for a property, select your desired address, and autofill will take care of the rest.

Comparing reports has always been challenging. The accordion design is a great way to display side-by-side inspections. It allows users to quickly and easily browse through the reports with minimal scrolling. In addition, the interactive design enables users to rearrange rooms by simply dragging and dropping.

Each report has a unique secure link comprising various numbers and letters randomly generated. Users can share these links with their clients enabling them to view reports anytime, anywhere.

Once users have shared the inspection with their clients, they can scroll to the bottom of the report, sign and submit their signatures. Again, a simple and time-saving way to capture signatures, and it’s paperless.

If you want to keep a hard copy of all your images from a report, now you can. All users can now download all their images from the inspection in a zipped file. Press “Download Zip” at the top of the report; it’s that simple.
